Description :

From February 15 to 19 every year, the sleepy valley of Taranagso situated on the outskirts of Diphu town, comes alive with the celebrations of the Karbi Youth Festival, the oldest, largest, most colourful and pulsating youth festival of Assam. With a view to propagate the rich cultural identity of the tribe, the Karbi Youth Festival is slowly showcasing the ethnic diversity of the Karbi tribe during the celebrations of Karbi Youth Festival.

This festival has added to its flavour courses like food festivals, ethnic drinks beauty contest, rock competition, laser show and many more.  Karbi Youth Festival showcases the folk culture of the Karbi tribe dwelling in the various parts of the north eastern States of as well as of other indigenous tribes.
